THE COLLECTION

THE RULEBOOK

OFFICIAL SERVER RULES

These rules are intentionally simple. The Collection allows survival pressure, hunting, territorial conflict, mixed herbivore herds, and ecosystem tension — but not griefing, exploitation, or rule-baiting.

I

GAMEPLAY RULES

8 Rules

No mass killing fresh spawns

Do not repeatedly target hatchlings or fresh spawns solely to deny gameplay.

No revenge killing

Do not repeatedly respawn or return after death to attack the same player or group.

No two-faced baiting

Do not pretend to be friendly solely to trick someone into dropping their guard for an easy kill.

No roaming herbivore grief squads

Herbivores may defend themselves and their herd. They may not roam killing everything solely to grief.

No chain-killing vulnerable players

Carnivores may hunt for food and territory. They may not repeatedly kill helpless or newly spawned players.

No spawn camping

Do not repeatedly camp spawn areas, common exits, or vulnerable player entry points.

No unnecessary resource denial

Do not hold food, water, or high-traffic areas purely to harass other players.

No begging staff for advantages

Do not request grow points, teleports, heals, food, water, saves, or special treatment.

II

COMBAT RULES

4 Rules

Stop combat before restart

Combat must stop at least 5 minutes before server restart.

No combat logging

Do not disconnect, crash, park, store, or use systems to avoid death, damage, or consequences.

No Discord escalation

Do not turn normal in-game fights into Discord harassment, insults, or drama.

No body or rule baiting

Do not intentionally bait players into rule breaks or use bodies purely to grief.

III

WATER & SHORELINE RULES

5 Rules

Water is not a safe zone

Wardens may hunt, defend territory, ambush, or fight near water.

No permanent shoreline denial

Land creatures may not permanently camp shorelines solely to deny aquatic gameplay.

No permanent drink trapping

Aquatics may not permanently trap land creatures attempting to drink.

No harassment camping

Repeated shoreline harassment without food, survival, or territorial reason may be treated as griefing.

Move on when the conflict is over

After a fight or hunt ends, do not remain solely to block normal water access.

IV

GROUPING RULES

5 Rules

Herbivores may mix

Herbivores may form mixed-species herds within the posted herd slot limit.

Carnivores may not mix

Carnivores may only pack with their own species unless staff announces a temporary event exception.

No herbivore + carnivore alliances

Herbivores and carnivores may not coordinate to hunt, defend, scout, trap, or fight together.

Caps apply to the whole group

Pack and herd limits apply to the entire active group, not per subgroup or Discord voice channel.

Neutral proximity is allowed

Sharing water or a landmark is not grouping unless players coordinate or protect each other.

V

PACK & HERD LIMITS

Mixed herbivore herds may use up to 10 herd slots total. Larger species use more slots.

Duplicating dinos, copying codes without approval, or bypassing ownership systems is forbidden.

Shop dinos are fresh adults

Shop purchases are clean server-generated adults. They are not Prime, Elder, Entomb, or player bloodline dinos.

Staff may void suspicious trades

Staff may cancel, reverse, or delete trades tied to exploits, scams, or rule breaks.

VII

STAFF ENFORCEMENT

5 Rules

Use tickets for support

Use tickets for reports, disputes, appeals, account issues, and rule questions.

Provide evidence

Reports should include screenshots, clips, timestamps, Discord names, and context when possible.

No public report drama

Do not turn reports, bans, or staff decisions into public arguments.

Staff decisions are final

Staff may warn, mute, kick, ban, remove exploited dinos, revoke storage, or adjust penalties as needed.

Rules may update

Rules may change as the server, species balance, garage, auctions, and ecosystem tools develop.
